TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Solkarn website and the purchase or use of Solkarn services. By purchasing, booking, or using a Solkarn service, you agree to the terms applicable to that service. Please read these Terms carefully. They are written in clear, understandable language and are not intended to be unnecessarily complicated.

1. ABOUT SOLKARN

Solkarn provides business startup research, planning, organization, consultation, roadmap development, and other agreed startup-support services. Services may include, as applicable: Free 15-Minute Fit Calls, Business Direction Sessions, Personalized Startup Roadmaps, Guided Launch Support, and Hands-On Startup Support. The exact service provided in any situation depends on what you purchase and, for individually scoped projects, the agreed project scope.

2. NATURE OF SOLKARN SERVICES

Solkarn provides research, informational, organizational, planning, and business-support services. These services are designed to help you better understand and navigate your startup path. Solkarn does not guarantee that any business will launch successfully, become profitable, receive financing or grants, obtain licenses or permits, receive government approval, or achieve any particular result. Information provided by Solkarn is intended to support your decision-making, but all final business decisions remain your responsibility.

3. FREE 15-MINUTE FIT CALL

The Free 15-Minute Fit Call is intended to determine whether Solkarn's services may be appropriate for your needs. It is a high-level fit and qualification conversation. The Free 15-Minute Fit Call is NOT a free consulting session. It does not include: custom research, detailed business analysis, a written roadmap, document preparation, filing services, or detailed business recommendations. Solkarn may determine that its services are not appropriate for a particular request or business situation.

4. BUSINESS DIRECTION SESSION

The Business Direction Session is a focused 60-minute consultation priced at $149. It is intended to address a specific business question, challenge, decision, or narrow area of your business idea. Unless separately agreed in writing, the Business Direction Session does NOT include: deep custom research, a written Personalized Startup Roadmap, document preparation, filing services, paperwork completion, or ongoing support. You should be prepared to take your own notes during the consultation.

5. PERSONALIZED STARTUP ROADMAP

Personalized Startup Roadmaps start at $499. The $499 amount is a starting price and is not the automatic price for every roadmap. The final price depends on the complexity and agreed research scope of your specific business. Before custom roadmap research begins, you will be informed of the project scope and fixed project price. Research for a Personalized Startup Roadmap may include: business structure, registrations, location/zoning, licenses/permits, startup costs, equipment, suppliers, systems, staffing, funding resources, and marketing considerations. Not every roadmap includes every research category. Research that is not relevant to the agreed project does not need to be included simply to increase the size of the roadmap.

6. ROADMAP REVIEW SESSION

A completed Personalized Startup Roadmap includes one 60-minute Roadmap Review Session unless otherwise stated in your agreed scope. The Roadmap Review Session is intended to: walk through the completed roadmap, discuss the research provided, and address reasonable questions about understanding and using the roadmap. The review session does not automatically expand the original research scope or include additional research, implementation work, filing services, or ongoing consulting. Additional work requested after delivery may require a separate scope and fee.

7. GUIDED LAUNCH SUPPORT

Guided Launch Support is separately scoped based on your needs, requested level of guidance, and anticipated duration of support. It is not automatically included with a Personalized Startup Roadmap. The scope, price, and applicable deliverables for Guided Launch Support should be agreed upon before this support begins.

8. HANDS-ON STARTUP SUPPORT

Hands-On Startup Support may provide more direct assistance with appropriate administrative or operational startup tasks. The exact work depends on your business, your requested assistance, and what Solkarn can appropriately provide. The scope and price for Hands-On Startup Support should be established before work begins. Solkarn does not perform regulated professional services for which Solkarn is not appropriately qualified or authorized.

9. PROJECT SCOPE

Custom projects are performed according to an agreed scope. The scope identifies the work Solkarn has agreed to perform. Requests that materially expand or change the original project may require: a revised scope, additional fees, additional time, or a separate service agreement. Solkarn is not required to perform work outside the agreed scope without agreement to the additional work.

10. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for: providing accurate and complete information, responding to requests for clarification, reviewing deliverables, making final business decisions, confirming critical requirements with authorities, and seeking qualified professional advice when needed. Inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld information may affect the relevance or usefulness of research and recommendations.

11. RESEARCH & INFORMATION LIMITATIONS

Solkarn makes reasonable efforts to research information, but laws, government requirements, fees, programs, and vendor information can change. Research represents info identified during the process and is not a guarantee that every possible factor has been identified. You should verify critical requirements with the appropriate authority when appropriate.

12. THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION & RESOURCES

Solkarn may identify third-party resources such as government agencies, vendors, or software providers. Inclusion does not constitute a guarantee of their products, services, pricing, or results. Unless specifically stated, Solkarn does not control independent third parties.

13. NO GUARANTEE OF FUNDING

Solkarn may research potential grants or loans where relevant. Solkarn does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, approval, or funding availability. Solkarn is not a lender or grant provider.

14. LICENSES, PERMITS & GOVERNMENT APPROVALS

Solkarn may research licenses or government requirements. Research does not guarantee application acceptance. Final determinations are controlled by the applicable government agency or responsible entity.

15. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DISCLAIMER

Solkarn is not acting as a law firm, CPA firm, tax adviser, financial adviser, bank, or government agency. Information provided is not a substitute for professional advice when specialized judgment is required.

16. PAYMENTS

Website prices apply to services described and may change prospectively. Custom pricing applies to individually scoped projects. You are responsible for providing billing info and paying agreed charges.

17. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS

Cancellation and refund terms depend on the service. Custom research may be non-refundable once work begins. Terms communicated during booking or invoicing also apply to that specific transaction.

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Website content and Solkarn-created materials are protected. You may use completed, client-specific deliverables for your own internal planning and business operation. Ownership is not transferred unless agreed.

19. ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE WEBSITE

You agree not to interfere with website security, attempt unauthorized access, use the site for unlawful activity, submit harmful code, misrepresent your identity, or misuse protected content.

20. RIGHT TO DECLINE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICES

Solkarn may decline or discontinue services if work falls outside scope, requires licensing Solkarn doesn't have, involves unlawful activity, or if info/payment is withheld. This is to recognize when continuation is impractical.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted, Solkarn is not responsible for losses from business decisions, third-party actions, changing external info, or implementation of Solkarn provided info. Applicable laws on liability exclusion override these terms if they conflict.

22. INDEMNIFICATION

You may be responsible for claims resulting from unlawful misuse of the site/services, violation of terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This applies as permitted by applicable law.

23. CHANGES TO SERVICES OR TERMS

Solkarn may update site info, services, pricing, or terms. Updated terms display a new date. Changes apply prospectively and don't retroactively change agreed projects without consent.

24. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable law. Solkarn may specify a more detailed governing-law provision in the future after appropriate review.

DIGITAL WORKBOOK PURCHASES — BASIC AND PROFESSIONAL
These workbook-specific terms apply to Solkarn Property Preservation Basic and Professional. They take priority over conflicting general service terms on this page, including sections 17, 18 and 21. Mandatory legal rights and any more favorable specific promise made at purchase remain protected.

Purchase and delivery
You purchase the edition and version identified on the product page and order confirmation for the one-time price shown at checkout. Applicable taxes and the final total are shown before payment. A workbook purchase does not start a subscription. This is a digital download; no physical item is shipped. Download access is provided through the store after payment is confirmed. Contact support@solkarn.com if you cannot access your purchase. The workbook is an .xlsx file supplied in a ZIP package; Microsoft Excel is required and purchased separately. Google Sheets, mobile Excel and other spreadsheet apps are not promised as supported. Keep an original backup and working copies.

License for one business
Your purchase permits internal use and editing for one business, including its employees and authorized contractors working for that business. You may make backups and share estimates, invoices and reports made from your own business data with clients. You may not resell, sublicense, publicly distribute or give away the workbook/template, or distribute a competing template using it. Each separate business needs its own license. Your business data belongs to you. Solkarn retains rights in its original template content. No recurring payment is required to keep using the purchased workbook. A full refund ends its license; stop using and delete the workbook and copies, but you may export and retain your own business records.

Features and limitations
The product listing describes the purchased edition, supplied row capacities and limitations. The workbook requires manual data entry and review. Results depend on your quantities, costs, assumptions and client requirements; suggested prices are not client-approved allowances. Basic has basic job tracking and costing; Professional adds the service calculators and advanced estimating/profit engine. Professional v0.3 has separate basic reporting and advanced-engine calculation paths: follow the guide and do not assume they automatically synchronize. The workbook does not send invoices, collect payments, verify photographs, obtain approvals or guarantee earnings. Check inputs and results before quoting or invoicing. It is not a substitute for legal, tax, accounting, engineering or safety advice. Custom setup, training calls, research, ongoing advisory services, automatic client-rule updates and lifetime upgrades are not included unless separately agreed and purchased.

Included email support
Written instructions and a practice example are included. For 30 calendar days after download availability, you may submit up to three getting-started questions about the supplied workbook to support@solkarn.com. Follow-ups needed to resolve the same question count as part of that question. Include your order number and edition. We aim to reply within two business days, Monday through Friday; this is a response target, not guaranteed resolution time or live support. Delivery problems, wrong files, duplicate charges, refund requests and suspected defects do not count against the allowance and may be reported after 30 days. Included help does not cover custom formulas, data entry, cleanup, training calls, accounting advice, research or business management. Use redacted screenshots or fictional examples; do not send passwords, bank credentials, tenant information or live client workbooks.

14-day full-refund promise
If the workbook is not right for you, email support@solkarn.com within 14 calendar days after your download becomes available. Include your order number or enough information to locate the purchase. Opening or downloading the file does not remove this promise. You do not have to prove a defect, accept troubleshooting or accept store credit instead of a qualifying refund. There is no physical return or restocking fee.
We submit qualifying refunds to the original payment method within five business days after receiving enough information to identify the purchase. Refunds cover the amount paid for that product, including tax charged on it. Your payment provider may need additional time to display the credit. If the original method cannot receive a refund, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative.
Contact us about wrong files, inaccessible downloads, duplicate charges or material defects so we can investigate and offer an appropriate correction, replacement or refund. After the voluntary 14-day window, change-of-mind refunds are not promised, but rights for faulty, undelivered or misdescribed products remain protected. Buying extra support is never required to report a defect or request a qualifying refund. Separately purchased services and subscriptions must disclose their own scope, price and cancellation/refund terms before payment.

Nothing here restricts mandatory consumer rights or lawful complaint/payment-dispute rights. The terms and promises made when you purchase govern that purchase; later revisions do not retroactively remove them. Optional services require a separate stated scope and price.
